Liz on the street in Hoi An. With shops galore, local color and an old town feel, this is Liz's kind of place. Vietnam is increasingly opening to the outside world, and with the help of guidebooks like Lonely Planet, lots of foreigners are discovering Hoi An. Therefore, it was sometimes hard for me to get a photo without Westerners walking into my frame and "spoiling" the picture, ha ha. In conclusion, for those of you who want to go, get there soon - before it starts getting really crowded with 外國人.

Shopping, shopping, shopping and more window shopping along the street... my mom loves it.

While Mom's shopping, Dad finds a quiet alley to hide out in. Maybe he should get back out there on "shopping street" to find out what's going on. Quite possibly he'll need another suitcase to get the "loot" back home in. :)

Here's another shot of my little friend biking home from school.

These cute kids were just hanging out along the street. Camera shy? I don't think so (especially the two little guys in the middle).
