Taiwan East Coast Rally Tour

On this tour we visited schools in I-lan and Hualien. In Hualien, we visited Hualien High School and the Tzu-Chi Buddhist College of Technology. We were curious what it would be like at this school. In fact, we got a very warm reception there. It was probably better (sad to say) than the reception we'd get at a lot of Christian schools. They like Studio Classroom a lot and were familiar with many of our songs. Liz was able to share a testimony of what God has done in her life. What a wonderful witnessing opportunity it was. Please pray that we can continue to have an influence on young people like this in Taiwan.

Taiwan East Coast Rally Tour

These are a couple of photos from recent school rallies. (A) Phil interviews an "upper deck" student at one school. (B) Liz gives a testimony and motivational talk at another school.


After Christmas, Liz and I along with one of our ORTV singing groups, the Sunshine Singers, will head to Hualien and I-lan for several days of more school rallies. We hope that it will be a chance to encourage more students. Among the schools we will visit is a large Buddhist school of the powerful Tzu-Chi organization. Please keep us in your prayers that we might have a Christian influence even there.
